Dwarf Budgetts Frog
(L. llanensis)
Named for the scientist that first described the genus in 1899 Dwarf Budgetts frogs are rarely seen in their native habitat and more rarely imported. The Dwarf Budgetts frog is immediately identifiable by its elliptical (cat like) pupil. Ranging in color from a drab olive color to an olive brown, the skin tends to be covered with small bumps giving it an almost leathery feel.
