Tomato Frog

The Tomato Frog is a hardy frog with coloration ranging from orange red to brick red. In the wild, Tomato Frogs are found in rain forest areas or in vegetated areas near water. They bury themselves in the substrate waiting for prey to pass. When threatened they puff up their body with air to appear larger and secrete a sticky white mucous from their skin as a defense against predators.
