Fantasy Frog

(C. cranwelli x C. cornuta)

Originally known as the D&M Fantasy frog, this frog was introduced and named by its original creators, Philippe de Vosjoli and Bob Mailloux. The Fantasy frog closely resembles the Surinam Horned frog with a few exceptions. The Fantasy has a somewhat shorter “horn” over the eye, a light gray rather than black chin, and a much wider range of body colors. It is also known for its voracious appetite and hardy nature. The cross does however produce a “mule” that is not suitable for breeding.
